Description

Mental health and liver disease are deeply connected - but often treated in isolation. In this insightful episode, we speak with a leading expert about the hidden mental health challenges faced by people living with liver disease. We explore the complexities of diagnosis, the overlap of symptoms, and how disease severity can influence mental health outcomes. The conversation also highlights practical ways clinicians can integrate mental and medical care and calls for policy changes to remove barriers to support. This episode sheds light on an often-overlooked issue - and why treating the liver means caring for the mind too.
