A 58-year-old man presents with bilateral shoulder pain. He is suspected to have some kind of liver disease, because laboratory investigations disclose about 2.8-fold elevated serum aminotransferases and 1.4-fold elevated gamma-glutamyltransferase. Serum albumin, prothrombin time, creatinine and creatine kinase are within the normal range.
