About this course

In these four online modules about COVID-19 and the liver, world-renowned experts present the current state of COVID-19 diagnostics, the impact of COVID-19 on the management of liver cirrhosis, transplantation and liver cancer, the effect of COVID-19 on the European viral hepatitis elimination programme as well as the links and potential mechanisms between obesity, metabolic disease or fatty liver disease and COVID-19 severity in these populations.

Overview

  • Understand the development of virological markers during the infection and apprehend the modalities of the different available tests
  • Learn about the reliability and limited sensitivity of the tests in asymptomatic patient and understand how to assess risk, identify disease and track the spread of SARS-CoV-2 within the population

4. Obesity and fatty liver disease (1 hour, 1 CME credit, release date: March 2021)

  1. In each module, complete the Pre Knowledge Check to determine your current level of understanding. This is not counted as part of your grade for this course.
  2. After completing the Pre Knowledge Check you can access the main activity.
  3. After completing the activity you will unlock the Post Knowledge Check.
  4. Once you pass the Post Knowledge Check you will need to provide feedback on the module in order to unlock your Module Certificate and your CME Credits Certificate.
  5. You can continue by taking another module.
